Senior Thesis: Part 2

I don't have a whole lot to update you on since the last post, so I will just leave you with some of the artists I have been looking at through this process.

The first is a former professor of Daniel, April Flanders. She came to visit campus last year and showcase some of her work in the Cochenour Gallery. The work that she brought with her was focused on invasive species of animals and plants. It is extremely layered printmaking. She did layer upon layer of monoprinting and sometimes screenprinting to create works like these:

Another artist I have been looking at is the creator of the work that is currently in the Cochenour Gallery, Heather Freeman. She does a variety of methods on top of digital prints, like sketching and collage. Here are a few examples of her work:
