Students interested in possibly working in a museum as a future career goal? Why not learn more this summer by applying for an opportunity that I received from a list-serve: For several years, the Smith College Museum of Art has provided a six-week intensive summer program, The Summer Institute in Art Museum
Studies. This really appropriate for undergraduates and recent college
graduates. The website is www.smith.edu/siams. The application
deadline is March 11, 2011, and there is "generous financial
assistance."
