This just in....make some money by selling your art

Call to artists for Holiday Art Sale @ the SCAC November 12 - December 17, 2011
Delivery to the Scott County Arts & Cultural Center begins tomorrow--> Nov 2.
Call reads: "We welcome you to participate in this year's Gallery & Gifts Holiday Market, the annual Arts & Cultural Center Fundraiser offering shoppers a special gift selection of "affordable art" created by local and regional artists, artisans and authors. The Arts & Cultural Center Gallery will be transformed into a destination for discriminating gift givers seeking unique, original, creative, masterful, and meaningful treasures for family, friends and associates.
Delivery days and times: November 2 through 9, noon-4 pm, and by appointment. We encourage you to deliver your work early. Inventory will be displayed as space allows, and as items sell, new inventory will be placed on display.
Commission: 70% to artist (be sure to mark-up your sale price 30% which will go to the Arts & Cultural Center to support operations.)
This year we wish to market the artists as well as your work:
a) Please prepare a half-page artists statement /biography/ or description of your creative process.
b) If at all possible please provide photo of you "at work" or your work "in progress" to provide shoppers a personal insight into the creative value a gift of art embodies.
c) Be sure to bring business cards or other promotional flyers to market your work.
d) PLEASE volunteer to help Gallery sit and sell! Call Beth Stone, our volunteer coordinator @ 502-867-0060, or sign-up when you check your work in.

Gift Gallery dates: November 12 - December 17, 2011
The show will be open to the public Tuesday- Saturday noon-4 and by appointment.
Quest Farm will hold two Artist Receptions Wednesday, November 17 and Dec 7, 1-3PM."
