DETAILS

ABOUT THE SHOW
Flora & Fauna, plants and animals, have always been a subject for art making.  If you open up a big Art History text book, one of the images you’re likely to come across from the earliest times will beTHE CAVE PAINTINGS OF WILD ANIMALS AT LASCAUX.  Flip to the back of the book and you might find ANDY GOLDSWORTHY’S SCULPTURES made from natural materials.
This juried show hopes to gather new artwork that takes the natural world for its subject.
Thanks to ARTISTS AND CRAFTSMAN SUPPLY for donating the awards!
JUROR - JOHN BEGLEY
John Begley has served as the Curator and Gallery Director for the University of Louisville since 1975.  He also heads up the program for critical and curatorial studies at UofL.  He himself is a printmaker, video, and installation artist.
