Picturing America...at the Kentucky Historical Society

Today and tomorrow (Wednesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 7) the Kentucky Historical Society will host the conference "Faces, Spaces, and Places" -- a Picturing America Collaborative Grant funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The conference directors are Dr. Decker (GC art department) and Mike Deetsch (KHS). We'll be posting and tweeting over the two days. Follow the blog here and twitter here. A full conference bibliography and agenda are online.

UPDATE: We weren't blogging or tweeting...but Portia took several photos over the two days of the conference. So, we can share those with our readership. Further updates later. Stay tuned.
And, a special thanks to Keith @ the KHS for taking the photo above which includes Portia Watson, Dr. Juilee Decker, Wendell Berry, Jacob Pankey, and Dr. Jim Klotter
