Preservation Kentucky Art Show:
Preserving Our Kentucky Heritage
August 14, 2012 - St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Louisville
Local Art in the Highlands (Louisville) & Preservation Kentucky is looking for original art that expresses the Kentucky experience and why it should be preserved. Past LAH Opening Reception events have drawn folks from the region providing exposure to a wide variety of groups that may view the art on display through mid-November 2012.
Preservation Kentucky hopes for participation from across the Commonwealth and can work with you to get your work to Louisville for this exciting show. Local artists should arrange to have artwork in the gallery by August 5, 3-5 pm (2233 Woodbourne Ave, Louisville). We strongly encourage you to be part of the drop off as mingling with other artists and building community is a big part of what LAH is all about.
Stipulations:
- We have had such great participation that we are limiting (with some flexibility) how many pieces an artist may submit – up to 4 small pieces, 2 medium pieces, or 1 large piece.
- All mediums of artwork that can be hung on the walls and are WIRED will be accepted.
- Your pieces must be arrive by August 5 and remain for the duration of the show through mid-November unless sold.
- Spread the word to other artists who may be interested in submitting. If you have any questions about the call for art, please contact Kim Torres at ampersandprime@gmail.com or text (502) 457-3864 ASAP.
DROP OFF SUNDAY AUGUST 5, 3-5 PM
