Art Truck
Folks in Boston have cooked up a great, new art initiative that serves up art from a truck. White Walls Boston is a mobile art initiative launched on June 30 that aims to make art accessible across the city. The first project offers a video installation projected through 1000s of light strands, shown above. This project was the work of Jesse Kaminsky and Vela Phelan, local artists.
Such a setting might surprise those passing by; and just like mobile food trucks -- it's here today and gone tomorrow (if not, sooner), as each DIY art project endures for 24 hours. Three such projects are planned for the summer.
Check out the info and an interview with the developer Ethan Kiermaier here.
