"Wolin, a professor of photography at Indiana University examines the Vietnam War and the continuing effect on its veterans by combining images and texts to create narrative portraits. Collected in the book Inconvenient Stories: Portraits of Vietnam War Veterans, his work tells the often harrowing stories of lives still disrupted by post traumatic stress disorder. Since the book was published in 2005, he has continued the project with Vietnamese veterans, whose perspectives, not surprisingly, are quite different than their American counterparts," UK Art Museum Robert C.
