Great timing in light of post below about internships! See Headley-Whitney's Call for volunteers. The Headley-Whitney Museum, a decorative arts museum in Lexington, is seeking individuals who are interested in volunteering their time at our facility, during the months of summer and fall. Great opportunity to gain experience for those majoring in art, art history, museum studies, or education. In expectation of a busy summer, we will need some help with the various activities that will be taking place at the Museum during that time. We will be doing a number of children’s activities (our annual Headley Whitney Wednesdays) and will also need help with many group tours, front desk coverage, special events and exhibition openings/receptions, well into fall. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Rhonda Barker for information regarding training sessions to familiarize you with our Museum.
