Educator/Web Manager, Headley-Whitney Museum, Lexington, KY: Job Description: The Headley-Whitney Museum, a decorative arts museum located in the heart of the beautiful Bluegrass region, is seeking a full-time Educator/Web Manager responsible for developing and running educational programs for students of all ages including adult jewelry/decorative art workshops, children’s summer craft workshops and the Improbable Baubles Faux Bibelot Middle School Competition. The Educator/Web Manager also comes up with new workshop ideas, schedules group tours, assists with the volunteer program and conducts educational outreach and in-school programs. The Educator/Web Manager is also responsible for keeping the website up to date using Dreamweaver, sending out e-newsletters using Vertical Response and helping to maintain the social media presence of the Museum. In addition, the Educator/Web Manager is a key member of the small staff in assisting with the day-to-day running of the Museum such as giving tours, answering phones and assisting at the front desk. Full-time, exempt position with some evening and weekend hours required. Salary Range: $25,000-$28,000. Benefits package includes health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
