AHRG: Art History Reading Group

Students who love art history.... ...and like to read...I am thinking of starting an art history reading group in the spring. The purpose of the group would be to meet up (about twice a month) to discuss an article, a chapter from a book, or other reading. The articles would be chosen by all of us, based upon our interests and could focus on art history or museum and curatorial practices. The reading group would meet every two weeks -- is entirely voluntary and optional -- and would not be for credit. The group is not restricted to art history majors, but requires an understanding of art history (generally). We'll meet in the evening (probably Thursday evenings every two weeks, beginning in January 2011). If you are interested in participating, please let me know. Ideally, we'd have no more than 8 students in this group.
